Why should I have two copies of my music on my iPhone. It takes up way too much space and makes syncing unnecessarily long. If I'm going to use all the space, I want it to be taken up by unique files.

So, I decided to fix this by writing iTunes Quixync. What the app does is makes your iPhone Music Library accessible to Quixpin DJ. Cool, huh? Just run the app, tap the Quixync button and your set.

Just a small caveat. When I was writing the app, if I synced my iPhone during the process, it would want to restore the iPhone from a backup. So in order to get around that, I added the Unxync button. Just run the app, tap the button and it will restore your iPhone Music Library to a syncable state.

Until I get a Cydia repository to host this (or create one myself), I'm releasing it to the wild.

In order to install, download the zip file, ssh into your iPhone / iPod Touch, unzip it into your /Applications folder, and then respring. Voila, you'll be able to play your music on your iPhone and DJ with it in Quixpin DJ!
